Chicken Dish


  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil


  1. Clean the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, honey, salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil together.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, making sure to coat it evenly.
  4. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  6. Place the chicken in a baking dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake the chicken for 45 minutes, then remove the aluminum foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
